Cylinder Processor
About the role
This role involves processing medical and industrial gas cylinders according to established plant guidelines and procedures. Duties include conducting inspections, filling cylinders, operating equipment, and maintaining quality control documentation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cylinder inspections to determine need for retesting or repairs through visual, physical, and odor tests before filling
- Check for cylinder quantities, styles and product, and fill any necessary product
- Load and unload product from weekly shuttle truck
- Operate and maintain cylinder scales and associated equipment
- Prepare warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork for shipment and keys into the computer
- Justify the stock inventory based on quantities, styles and products filled
- Complete and maintain quality control documentation as per company and governmental procedures
- Operate a forklift truck and other plant vehicles
Requirements
- A high school degree or GED
- More than one (1+) year experience in a plant or manufacturing environment
- A strong mechanical background is desired
- Good leadership, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
Qualifications
While a college degree is not required, a strong mechanical background is desired. Leadership, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills are essential. Experience in a plant or manufacturing environment is preferred.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $19.47 - $28.56 per hour.
