About the role

As a Crossbore Technician, you will support the operation of advanced robotic CCTV inspection systems and specialized field equipment used to identify and prevent underground utility cross bores—hazardous intersections between utility lines. This critical work protects public safety and maintains the integrity of essential infrastructure. Working under the guidance of experienced field personnel and reporting to the Field Operations Manager, you’ll gain hands-on experience while developing in-demand technical skills. This entry-level field role offers strong opportunities for career growth within the utility industry, with many technicians advancing quickly into crew lead roles and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing, locating, and maintaining robotic inspection equipment.
• Deploy inspection equipment into pipelines using cranes or hooks.
• Set up and maintain safe work zones, including traffic control and flagging.
• Mark locations on the job site with utility marking paint.

Pay

$24 - $26 per hour, depending on experience.
