Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Wiring Technician to join our team in a hands-on role focused on setting up internal test harnesses. This is a full-time, onsite contract position in [insert regional location]. The ideal candidate will have experience with low-voltage wiring, technical documentation, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities include assembling wiring harnesses, interpreting technical diagrams, and collaborating with engineering and QA teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and install test wiring harnesses for QA purposes.
• Cut and route low-voltage wires to various devices.
• Perform basic continuity and low-voltage testing.
• Document wire movements and inventory using spreadsheet software.
• Collaborate with engineering and QA teams for task tracking and documentation.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience with wiring and harness assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs with assistance).
• Proficiency with wire crimping, stripping, and soldering tools.
• Comfortable working from technical documentation and diagrams.
