Technician, CDL B

About the role

NuCO2 is the largest national provider of beverage grade liquid CO₂ to the food service and hospitality industry. We have an immediate need for an Installation Technician who is responsible for managing on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and equipment testing for CO₂ high-pressure cylinders and other products to customers on an established route.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, repair, maintenance, and equipment testing for beverage gas systems
• Maintain assigned service vehicle, tool inventory, parts inventory, and general upkeep of vehicle
• Use handheld device for routing information, customer delivery information, and communication with assigned location management (depot)
• Responsible for the safe and accurate loading, transporting, and unloading of equipment

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a technician or similar role
• CDL preferred; minimum valid US driver’s license for at least 24 months; tanker with hazmat endorsement
• Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds and frequently maneuver 400 pounds
• Must be able to pull and retract a fill hose (up to 100 feet)
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Will be required to pass a pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen
• Must have a clean driving record (no accidents or moving violations last 24 months)
