CDL (Class A or B) Technician

Duties

• Performs all work tasks required to support execution of sewer maintenance, inspection and/or rehabilitation pipeline tasks
• Properly operate and maintain CIPP equipment
• Work effectively with supervisors and all members of the crew to ensure successful inspections, cleaning, repairs, and rehabilitation of sanitary and storm sewer collection systems
• Load materials and equipment into vehicles for transportation to and from the job site
• Able to work in the elements - extreme cold and heat for long duration
• Able to lift, push/pull, carry 50 lbs

Skills and Specifications

• Capable of following instructions and on-the-job training
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Possess a CDL-A or B with a clean driver record and tanker endorsement
• Ability to work overtime and out of town/state, travel 100%
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift over 50 lbs

Education and Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Possess 1-2 years of experience operating a Class A or B Vehicle
• Communicate effectively with crew and customers including, both verbally and in writing
• Think logically about work at hand and compare site conditions with project designs
• Enter and work in confined spaces
• Operate a variety of simple and complex tools
• Pass pre-employment drug test, D.O.T. physical and driver’s license check for past 36 months without any suspensions or major traffic violations (D.O.T. requirements)
