Technician Cable Installation

Responsibilities

• Install, disconnect, and troubleshoot video service, internet, telephone, and/or alarm equipment in customer homes and businesses
• Identify and try to remedy sources of customer-perceived issues
• Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement
• Educate the customer regarding product and service usage
• Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/after-hours responsibilities as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have authorization to work in the United States for this company
• Hold a High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Have a valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional) with an acceptable driving record
• Previous experience in cable installation or a related field is preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, work alone in remote locations, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds without assistance
• Occasionally: entry into attics or crawl spaces, use ladder and gaffs for climbing poles, keyboard and mouse

Pay

The wage range for Technician Cable Installation is $17.00 - $17.00.
