Technician Cable Installation

About the role

Discover a more connected career at Prince Telecom, LLC, as a Cable Installation Technician. You’ll safely install and troubleshoot video services, internet, telephone, and alarm equipment in customer homes and businesses.

Responsibilities

• Install, disconnect, and troubleshoot video service, internet, telephone, and/or alarm equipment in customer homes and businesses
• Identify and try to remedy sources of customer-perceived issues
• Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement
• Educate the customer regarding product and service usage
• Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/after-hours responsibilities as needed
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• A valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Previous experience in cable installation or a related field preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: occasional entry into attics and crawl spaces, work at heights and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 pounds without assistance
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse

Pay

The wage range for Technician Cable Installation is $17.00 - $25.50.
