Technician - Avionics - A

About the role

We are representing an opportunity for a hands-on technical specialist to support engineering, production, and manufacturing activities tied to electro/mechanical systems. Our team is seeking a detail-focused professional who can contribute to assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement for high-quality flight-grade hardware.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, and evaluate electrical and mechanical assemblies for development, test, and flight environments.
• Support test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly activities using schematics, diagrams, written instructions, and defined plans.
• Perform operational testing and fault isolation, and assist with identifying methods to remedy malfunctions.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams, share input on manufacturing improvements, and help ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Requirements

• Familiarity working in an ESD EPA and with tool control/accountability processes.
• Experience using standard electronics assembly tools, hand soldering, and basic electronic test equipment such as multimeters and power supplies.
• Experience with applying torque to fasteners/components, fabricating, terminating, and repair/testing of wire harnesses, and applying/removing polymerics such as staking, potting, encapsulation, and conformal coating.
• 3 or more years of experience in Aerospace Avionics or related fields, plus experience inspecting and certifying work to relevant standards and specifications.
