Our services include pre-construction design, design oversight, and installation for electronic security, fiber, and datacom, as well as designing security plans for large events and institutions such as schools and places of worship.

About the Role

This is a full-time role for a Technician based in Birmingham, AL. The Technician will install, maintain, and troubleshoot security, data communication, and fiber systems. Day-to-day tasks include conducting security assessments, designing and implementing security systems, and providing support for pre-construction bidding processes. The Technician will also assist in training others and developing SOP documents and policies.

• Conduct security assessments and implement security systems
• Troubleshoot and provide technical support for security systems
• Assist in pre-construction bidding processes and design oversight
• Develop SOP documents and policies
• Train others on security systems and procedures

Requirements

• Skills in installing and maintaining security, data communication, and fiber systems
• Experience in conducting security equipment installations and implementing a provided statement of work
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and providing technical support for security systems
• Ability to assist in pre-construction bidding processes and design oversight
• Written and verbal communication skills with management and use of software reporting tools
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Presenting certifications and trade experience is a plus, though we hire on character and integrity.
