TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, and repair recreational vehicles including travel trailers, motorhomes, and fifth wheels.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance maintenance including repair of electrical systems, water/heating, propane, slide out, satellite, and roof sealing/replacement.
• Install hitches for travel trailers.
• Install brake controllers.
• Meet with customers providing demonstrations and instructions for use and functions.
• Tow trailers and 5thwheels and drive all sizes of motorhomes.
• Maintain safety, quality and superior customer satisfaction.
• Attend ongoing training provided by Byerly RV.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean, insurable driving record and pass a background check.
• Ability to use technology such as a smart tablet to enter in Complaint, Cause, and Correction.
• Prioritize experience in mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, and Maintenance.
• Technical capacity and understanding.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Continuous improvement mind set.
• Strong time management skills with ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Team player.
• Dependable.
• Can do attitude.
