Technician Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Aid in the setup of elevators and lifts by helping with the assembly, alignment, and securing of components.
• Aid in routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Help diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues under the supervision of experienced technicians.
• Prepare and maintain clean and organized work areas, ensuring tools and materials are readily available.
• Assist in recording maintenance activities, parts used, and any issues encountered during service calls.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous experience in a mechanical or construction role is advantageous but not required.
• Skills: Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, ability to use hand and power tools, and capability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift to 100 lbs., work at heights, and stand for extended periods.
• Other Requirements: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, willingness to travel for out-of-town assignments, and commitment to safety protocols.
