About the role

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician to perform preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on equipment in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime. Our fleet varies by location but primarily includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and equipment. Specialty lines locations may have a fleet of large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas-related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
• Conduct advanced diagnostics and complex repairs
• Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems
• Work flexibly with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Adapt to physical demands including bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more
• Work indoors and outdoors as required by the job

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired
• 5+ years of Technician experience with similar diesel equipment, heavy equipment, or specialty lines equipment (e.g., large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil & gas equipment) strongly preferred
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, including troubleshooting skills
• Ability to provide tools of the trade

Benefits become eligible on the first of the month following 30 days from your start date.

Pay

Base pay range: $24.05 - $33.06 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
