Location: Arcadia, WI
Schedule
- Day Shift: 3:45 AM – 4:00 PM or Night Shift: 4:00 PM – 3:45 AM
- 2-2-3 Schedule
Sign-On Bonus: $2,000.00
Responsibilities
- Locate and order parts (e.g., PM’s, breakdowns, repairs, rebuilding) to optimize plant equipment and support production of quality chemical intermediates, energies, and finished products.
- Troubleshoot and provide immediate preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines, facility, and wastewater treatment plant in accordance with Key Performance measures, Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety/regulatory requirements, and operational goals.
- Troubleshoot, repair/rebuild, and perform preventive maintenance on plant and equipment including, but not limited to, pumping systems, pneumatic controls, manual and actuated valves, agitators/seals, and motor bearings.
- Demonstrate proficiency with the operation and maintenance of plant utility equipment, including air handling units (HVAC), hot water pumps, motors, electrical panels, environmental sensors, coolers, boilers, air compressors, and substations.
- Ensure all lockout-tagout procedures are followed.
- Locate equipment problems, discuss potential causes, and recommend practical solutions for technical issues.
- Diagnose problems and repair blowers, pumps, airlocks, gear boxes, conveyors, valve installation, pipe welding, threading, and installation.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by Arcadia leadership.
Requirements
- Vocational or Associate’s degree in an electrical or maintenance-related field or High School Diploma with 7 years of on-the-job electrical and/or maintenance experience.
- Ability to work training/orientation hours Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM for 4 weeks.
- Previous diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventive maintenance experience in a GMP, biotech, pharmaceutical, or food environment preferred.
Pay
Hourly rate: $32.00 - $36.50. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and primary work location.
