Technician 1 - Wastewater

About the role

As a Wastewater Technician I, you will play an important role in supporting our Wastewater Operations team. In this position, you will assist the cleaning and closed-circuit television (CCTV) crews with various utility projects throughout your assigned area. This role is essential in helping protect the environment and maintain community health by ensuring sewer systems remain clean and properly maintained. This position reports directly to the Field Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Assist the cleaning and closed-circuit television (CCTV) crews with various utility projects throughout your assigned area.
• Help protect the environment and maintain community health by ensuring sewer systems remain clean and properly maintained.
• Work along busy streets, highways, and residential roads, often in high-traffic areas, following strict safety protocols and being aware of roadside hazards.
• Adapt to outdoor challenges including high heat, humidity, sudden storms, and cold temperatures; work may involve embankments, uneven terrain, or wet conditions.

Requirements

• Comply with Hydromax USA’s vaccination safety program: provide documentation of previously completed required vaccinations or complete the required vaccinations within the first 30 days of employment.
• Required vaccinations: Hepatitis B, Hepatitis A, and TDAP/Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Acellular Pertussis).

Pay

$19-22 per hour, depending on experience
