Responsibilities

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain material handling equipment, including engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, drivetrains, brakes, steering, and lifting systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and component repairs to ensure equipment meets manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Complete service documentation, maintain parts and supplies, and keep the shop clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company safety procedures, participate in training and certification programs, and contribute to a strong Safety-First culture.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience in forklift repair, automotive, diesel, heavy equipment, or a related mechanical field.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and learn new technologies and systems.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, along with a dependable, team-oriented attitude.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, work in a shop environment, and participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience in forklift repair, automotive, diesel, heavy equipment, or a related mechanical field.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A valid driver's license and physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
