Technical Writer II

About the role

The Technical Writer supports contract missions by applying knowledge of test procedures, military standards, specifications, and aerospace standards.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit technical documents such as test plans, test reports, SOPs, and other related materials to convey complex technical information clearly.
• Assist engineers in documenting detailed procedures for test and evaluation operations.
• Verify the completeness of test data and compile it into test reports.
• Collaborate with and assist engineering and technical teams in defining product and documentation requirements.
• Translate complex technical concepts into understandable narratives and illustrations for various audiences.
• Maintain oversight of the progress of technical documents through the review process.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in English, Communications, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• At least 2 years of experience in technical writing.
