Technical Writer

About the role

A technical writer is needed to produce clear and concise documentation for software products. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating user manuals, API guides, and other technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Create and update user manuals, API guides, and other technical documentation.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand product features and ensure accurate documentation.
• Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and aligns with company standards.
• Provide support to users through various channels including email and phone.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in technical writing or a closely related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for technical documentation.

Pay

$60,000 - $70,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
