Technical Writer

Write and edit technical documentation, user manuals, and sales and training literature. Apply specific functional knowledge, including working or general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance, and review or guide activities of more junior employees.

Requirements

• Experience with the Joint Training, Exercise, and Evaluation Program (JTEEP)
• Experience as a technical writer supporting special operations requirements
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
• Active TS/SCI clearance (applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation)
• Master’s degree

Pay

Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

This role may be remote, hybrid, or onsite:

• Remote: Primarily virtual, with occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
• Hybrid: Frequent work from a Booz Allen facility, with potential visits to customer facilities as needed.
• Onsite: Work primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, collaborating directly with colleagues and customers.

Employees working virtually are generally expected to have their cameras on during meetings to support engagement and effective communication.
