Technical Writer

About the role

Bigbear.ai is seeking a Technical Writer to join our team in multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical writing and a passion for creating clear, concise documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create and update user manuals, API documentation, and other technical materials
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand new features and ensure accurate documentation
• Review and edit existing documentation to maintain consistency and accuracy
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Computer Science, or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in technical writing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with technical writing tools and platforms

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with software development lifecycle processes

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with Git and version control systems
