About the role

Deliver high-impact technical training that improves technician efficiency, repair accuracy, and overall customer satisfaction. Translate complex Cummins products, systems, and policies into clear, practical learning experiences for technicians and service personnel. Continuously enhance training effectiveness by evaluating participant feedback and linking outcomes to field performance improvements. Maintain accurate training records and capability reporting to inform leadership decisions and workforce readiness strategies. Keep training programs current and scalable through train-the-trainer engagement and regular updates to materials and content. Drive continuous improvement by customizing training solutions and actively supporting initiatives that elevate service quality and operational performance.

Responsibilities

  • Act with urgency and ownership by proactively identifying training needs, seizing opportunities to improve technician capability, and stepping into challenges with energy and follow-through.
  • Communicate with clarity and impact by tailoring technical content for diverse audiences and ensuring understanding across technicians, dealers, and customers.
  • Deliver measurable outcomes by linking training effectiveness to field performance, technician efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Align training strategy to business priorities by forecasting demand, prioritizing initiatives, and clearly connecting training plans to organizational goals.
  • Build credibility and trust by demonstrating technical expertise, integrity, and consistency in both training delivery and field support.
  • Navigate complexity effectively by working across systems, stakeholders, and processes to implement training programs and resolve technical challenges.
  • Continuously evolve your capability by seeking feedback, engaging in train-the-trainer sessions, and staying current on Cummins products, tools, and learning methods.
  • Adapt to diverse learning and field environments by adjusting delivery style, approach, and content to meet varying learner needs and cultural perspectives.

Requirements

  • College, university or equivalent technical experience required.
  • Intermediate level of relevant work experience required, including experience in service.
  • Extensive Cummins product knowledge required, with focus on HMLD products, CNG, and expanded services.
  • Must be comfortable presenting presentations and hands-on activities to various audiences such as dealer, distributor techs, and customers.
  • Must be able to provide adaptable learning styles.
  • Self-motivated, but team oriented.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Pay

$78,800 – $118,200 per year.

This role is classified as Exempt - Experienced and follows an on-site with flexibility work model.
