Description
The Technical Trainer supports and delivers technical training programs at the local manufacturing site. Reporting directly to the General Manager/Plant Manager with a dotted-line relationship to Operations Learning & Development, this role ensures employees successfully complete operator and craft certification requirements.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience delivering training, on-the-job instruction, coaching, or related learning activities in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- 2–4 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Forms preferred.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and partner effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Results-oriented with a focus on growth, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Able to support implementation of new processes and learning technologies.
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to analyze information and build consensus when needed.
- Commitment to quality, waste reduction, and operational excellence.
- Willingness to work on the production floor and support all shifts as needed.
