Technical Team Lead

About the role

The Technical Team Lead will be the equipment expert for the Intel team to support the installation, upgrades, commissioning and troubleshooting of Edwards Equipment to ensure we are providing technical customer focused support for all Edwards equipment and will allow us to provide 7x12 on-site technical support to the customer.

Responsibilities

• Support Edwards Service and Sales organizations in installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of all Edwards equipment installed onsite.
• Provide project engineering/management support for new projects proposals and upgrade programs.
• Provide expert technical support/first level of escalation for the site team and training for the on‑site service team enhancing on‑site service teams’ ability to support Edwards equipment.
• Provide feedback to IKAT Technical support group on equipment performance and support requirements.
• Work closely with the technical support team and PCs to ensure that NPI, CIP projects receive the appropriate field input and the local site team(s) have the training, procedures and the parts needed for CIPs and NPIs.
• Develop local work instructions and procedures as required to support installation, maintenance and continuous improvement programs.
• Lead on‑site regularly scheduled technical meetings to ensure that the site team is aware of all technical issues and lessons learned.
• Work with the team lead and site manager to ensure 7x24 escalation support for the site team.

Requirements

• AS degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field (full military equivalent may substitute for AS with HR and supervisory approval) OR 4+ years of related technical experience (e.g., military, electromechanical devices, communications).
• 5 years of related industry experience, including completion of relevant training and competencies profiles defined within the training plan for the current position and demonstrated understanding of the product.

Qualifications

Knowledge Areas/Skills: Electronic, mechanical, chemical, or gas in the semiconductor industry is preferred.
