Description
GCI is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cyber Technical Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate is responsible for:
- Conducting research and analysis using diverse data sources and systems to identify entities of interest and potential opportunities for further investigation or engagement.
- Maintaining and enhancing expertise in specialized areas related to information gathering and analysis, particularly in complex geographic and/or functional areas or issues.
- Monitoring and analyzing potential weaknesses or vulnerabilities.
- Establishing partnerships, coordinating and deconflicting complex projects, and collaborating across organization lines to accomplish mission objectives.
- Presenting relevant findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, to a broad range of interlocutors including senior organizational management.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Participate in the conceptualization, initiation, development, and management of strategic initiatives or projects.
- Develop and manage analytical products or packages to support operational or strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to support initiatives and activities.
- Support intelligence community processes and procedures related to sensitive information handling and dissemination.
- Use analytical tools and databases to support data analysis and initiatives.
- Apply intelligence gathering or investigative processes, particularly those involving legal or regulatory frameworks.
- Draft and coordinate official correspondence or reports.
- Communicate complex mission ideas/concepts to audiences/stakeholders with varied technical and operational backgrounds.
- Analyze and evaluate large datasets from diverse sources, including technical information, signals, and imagery.

- Apply data analysis strategies to effectively and efficiently utilize advanced tools and methodologies to gather and analyze relevant information.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on complex or challenging subjects or projects.
- Develop analytical products and support presentations to senior review bodies or committees.
- Collaborate with partners to support analytical initiatives, with knowledge of relevant security and operational considerations.
- Work with external partners and stakeholders.
- Understand NSA and FBI reporting processes and requirements.
- Have experience with the cyber collection/exploitation mission.
- Have strong analytic, writing, and briefing skills when presenting results of research.
Education Requirement
A Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)
