Key Responsibilities
- Independently diagnose and resolve advanced technical issues involving hardware, software, operating systems, networks, servers, cloud services, telecommunications, storage systems, mobile devices, and security technologies.
- Plan, implement, configure, administer, and optimize IT systems and services to ensure reliability, performance, and security.
- Evaluate existing and emerging technologies, identify office needs, and recommend solutions related to hardware, software, network infrastructure, security, and overall technology lifecycle management.
- Serve as a senior technical resource and escalation point for office staff and tech support personnel.
- Administer and support core systems including: Network infrastructure, Windows servers and Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Azure Virtual desktop systems, VPN services, Storage and backup systems and archival workflow, Mobile device managment, Network cameras and physical network hardware, Conference room technology and end‑user devices.
- Lead or participate in technical projects such as system implementations, upgrades, migrations, and technology deployments.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and mentoring to junior support staff.
- Cookordinate work with vendors, contractors, and other technical resources.
- Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry practices and recommend improvements when appropriate.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, configuration records, procedures, inventories, and knowledge-base resources.
- Participate in emergency response, disaster recovery, business continuity, and technology recovery activities.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent educational and/or professional experience
- At least five years of experience in Information Technology
- Experience with managing Windows Servers
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services
- Experience administering Microsoft 365 environment
- Knowledge of backups and backup principles
- Knowledge of Windows Active Directory
- Troubleshooting, repairing, or upgrading computer hardware, including Windows and Mac laptops
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat DC (preferred)
