About the role
Year Up United is a one-year or less, intensive job training program designed for young adults. It offers:
- In-classroom skill development
- Access to internships and/or job placement services
- Personalized coaching and mentorship
- An educational stipend
Responsibilities
Participants will:
- Receive technical and professional training
- Gain access to internships and job placement support
- Learn and develop skills such as business and communication, interviewing and networking, resume building, and career guidance
- Earn an educational stipend of $525 per week during the internship phase
Requirements
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a high school graduate or GED recipient
- Be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Be available Monday-Friday throughout the duration of the program
- Be highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills
- Not have obtained a Bachelor's degree

72% of Year Up United graduates are employed and/or enrolled in postsecondary education within 4 months of graduation. Employed graduates earn an average starting salary of $55,000 per year.
Pay
During the internship phase, Year Up United students earn an educational stipend of $525 per week.
