Key Responsibilities
- Aid the site teams in developing Project Quality Plans, monitoring, and testing processes and procedures applicable to each project.
- Review works on site and prepare reports highlighting:
- Best Practices
- Items needing referral to the project design team
- Non-compliance with quality standards, Employer’s Requirements, and Statutory requirements
- Preventative actions required, and suggest appropriate actions (to be accepted by the protection team)
- Support Construction Materials on-site, including:
- Materials inspection, testing, and reporting
- Specification guidance
- Maintenance and support of complex or high-quality works
- Engage with Group Specialist Businesses for technical and design support as needed.
Key Skills & Knowledge
- Effective communication and technical understanding through application
- Knowledge of materials, quality standards, technical standards (e.g., Building Regulations), and attention to quality and detail
- ICWCI membership or equivalent experience would be advantageous
- At least 15 years of relevant construction experience with a main contractor, preferably with a diverse project background across multiple sectors
- Ability to collaborate, work as a key team player, and foster positive client relationships
