For our client, we are seeking a Technical - Standard Software (Virtual Final) to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will guide a talented engineering team focused on software solutions that support embedded and hardware-adjacent systems. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on technical depth with people leadership, helping shape architecture, improve delivery execution, and strengthen engineering practices. You will partner closely with cross-functional leaders to translate complex technical needs into scalable, reliable outcomes while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $150,000 – $215,000 annually Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of engineers building platforms for embedded and hardware systems. Define technical strategy, architecture, and design for hardware development initiatives. Partner with cross-functional leaders to translate embedded development needs into scalable systems. Maintain engineering best practices in development, testing, and deployment processes. Contribute technically while driving team delivery and growth as a player-coach. Provide mentorship, feedback, and coaching to support team members' professional development. Foster a culture of innovation, psychological safety, collaboration, and continuous learning. Qualifications Hands-on software development experience with a proven track record in engineering management. Strong technical skills in software development, testing, and deployment. Ability to lead high-performing teams and deliver complex, cross-functional projects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to align technical and business priorities.
