Technical Specialist - Lifecycle Management

About the role

H2 Performance Consulting is recruiting for a Technical Specialist (LifeCycle Management) to support the White Sands Missile Range at White Sands, New Mexico. This anticipated contract will support WSMR's mission IT infrastructure, including enterprise services, cybersecurity, help desk, systems administration, network support, and related IT management support services.

Responsibilities

• Answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming telephone, voice mail, e-mail and in-person requests for assistance from users requiring property documentation
• Keep accurate inventory records by ensuring that products are accounted for during both inbound and outbound processes
• Maintain accurate records of all inventory, including stock levels, item descriptions, and locations
• Conduct regular physical counts and audits of inventory to verify that the records match actual stock levels
• Identify discrepancies between actual stock and recorded data and resolve them
• Generate reports on inventory levels, trends, turnover rates, and other key metrics to inform management decisions
• Aid with fulfilling customer orders or addressing customer inquiries related to inventory availability
• Manage the Microsoft Access database and Active Directory to accurately reflect the on-hand status of the property book
• Receive and issue equipment in accordance with established policy, army regulation and best business practices

Requirements

• Certification: CompTIA Security+ at time of hire
• Clearance: Secret at time of hire
• Experience: Mid Level: 1-2 Years, Senior Level: 3-5 Years
• Demonstrated ability to:
• Communicate well both orally and in writing
• Interpret and execute independently detailed instructions, processes and protocols
• Support customer issues with highest level of professionalism and formulate thorough and accurate resolutions quickly
• Work independently; requiring ability to identify and execute tasking requirements, provide status to PM, and to flex to program requirements in a high-pressure environment
• Understand/ability to perform physical demands of position

Pay

The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

The anticipated contract will have a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the White Sands Missile Range.
