TikTok is seeking a Technical Sourcer to join our talented engineering teams. The ideal candidate will design and implement sourcing strategies to attract top-tier technical talent, align with Engineering leadership, and cultivate robust talent pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly creative sourcing strategies to discover and engage top-tier technical talent from niche communities, open-source projects, and professional networks.
- Align with Engineering leadership and recruiters to understand technical nuances of specialized roles and contribute market intelligence to hiring strategy.
- Cultivate and manage talent pipelines for critical engineering roles, focusing on delivering high-signal candidates.
- Leverage analytics and market intelligence to inform sourcing approaches, sharing professional market mapping reports and data-backed insights.
- Ensure every candidate interaction is professional, welcoming, informative, and reflective of TikTok's innovative culture.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in talent acquisition, sourcing, recruiting coordination, or talent research.
- Proven experience using advanced features of talent platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and specialized technical sourcing tools.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to build rapport across engineering functions and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct market mapping and produce insightful reports influencing hiring decisions.
- Resourceful, innovative, and self-starter with the ability to adapt to change in a globally distributed organization.
- A strong passion for technical domains and the ability to quickly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience sourcing for algorithm-focused roles is advantageous.
