Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly creative sourcing strategies to discover and engage top-tier technical talent from niche communities, open-source projects, and professional networks.
• Align with Engineering leadership and recruiters to understand technical nuances of specialized roles and contribute market intelligence to hiring strategy.
• Cultivate and manage talent pipelines for critical engineering roles, focusing on delivering high-signal candidates.
• Leverage analytics and market intelligence to inform sourcing approaches, sharing professional market mapping reports and data-backed insights.
• Ensure every candidate interaction is professional, welcoming, informative, and reflective of TikTok's innovative culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in talent acquisition, sourcing, recruiting coordination, or talent research.
• Proven experience using advanced features of talent platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and specialized technical sourcing tools.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to build rapport across engineering functions and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct market mapping and produce insightful reports influencing hiring decisions.
• Resourceful, innovative, and self-starter with the ability to adapt to change in a globally distributed organization.
• A strong passion for technical domains and the ability to quickly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience sourcing for algorithm-focused roles is advantageous.
