Technical Solution Architect

About the role

UpSela Talent Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Solution Architect to design and guide end-to-end enterprise solutions across applications, cloud infrastructure, integration, security, and data platforms. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on engineering expertise, architectural leadership, and recent full SDLC experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and technical reviews across application, integration, data, security, infrastructure, and cloud layers.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable 3-tier web applications, mobile applications, and event-driven systems.
• Architect solutions using Java, Node.js, Angular, React, relational databases, and NoSQL technologies.
• Design integrations using REST APIs, SOAP, GraphQL, middleware, and Message-Oriented Middleware (MOM).
• Implement authentication and authorization using SAML, OAuth, and related security standards.
• Design cloud-native and hybrid solutions across AWS and on-premises infrastructure.
• Define CI/CD pipelines, monitoring solutions, architecture patterns, and technical standards.
• Conduct technical design and code reviews and provide hands-on implementation guidance.
• Support Architecture Review Board (ARB) processes, exception requests, remediation plans, and technology roadmaps.
• Mentor development teams and support cloud modernization, enterprise transformation, and emerging technology initiatives.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in solution architecture and technical design.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• Recent hands-on development experience across the full SDLC within the last 3 years.
• Strong experience with Java, Node.js, Angular, React, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.
• Experience designing solutions on AWS or hybrid cloud/on-premises environments.
• Knowledge of REST, SOAP, GraphQL, middleware, SAML, OAuth, and enterprise integration technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, code reviews, and technical design reviews.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, security, scalability, performance, availability, and non-functional requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with AI and IoT technologies.
• Experience integrating SAP, Adobe, and Salesforce.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture strategy, ARB governance, and exception management.
• Experience developing reusable frameworks, shared libraries, and common application components.
• Experience with cloud modernization and large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives.
