Technical Setup Specialist

About the Opportunity

The Technical Setup Specialist plays a key role in ensuring new customers successfully implement and launch the platform. This position manages the technical onboarding process, coordinates integrations and configurations, and works with internal teams and external vendors to ensure each customer setup is completed accurately and on schedule.

The role directly impacts customer satisfaction and operational readiness by ensuring systems are properly configured, tested, and transitioned to Customer Success.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the implementation process
• Lead customer kickoff calls and manage follow-up activities
• Coordinate dealership management system and scheduling tool integrations
• Configure software and troubleshoot integration, scheduling, and setup issues
• Process historical customer and operational data using backend tools
• Schedule test appointments and complete pre-launch validation checks
• Launch customer locations and enable platform outreach
• Monitor implementation timelines and communicate project status, deliverables, and potential issues
• Coordinate with internal teams, customers, and third-party vendors to resolve technical requirements
• Document implementation procedures and maintain accurate knowledge base resources
• Prepare detailed implementation summaries and ensure a smooth handoff to Customer Success
• Identify recurring setup issues and recommend improvements to onboarding processes

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical onboarding, implementation, project management, IT support, or a related field, preferably within SaaS or automotive technology
• Strong understanding of software configuration, APIs, integrations, and technical workflows
• Familiarity with dealership management systems or automotive CRM platforms preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and project management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple implementations simultaneously
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Salesforce or HubSpot is a plus

Pay

• Competitive base salary of $65,000 to $70,000 annually
