About the role
The Technical Services Technician ensures products meet quality standards through inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs. This role supports product integrity and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes mechanical tools in the Quality department.
- Supports rework of non-conforming items.
- Identifies and resolves non-conformances in materials, processes, and workmanship.
- Operates material handling equipment and uses measuring tools.
- Performs disassembly and diagnostics of WAI products.
- Collaborates in a safe, efficient, and clean work environment.
- Completes additional tasks as directed by management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience with electro-mechanical parts is a plus.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and diagnosis.
- Knowledge of OE or aftermarket components.
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical properties.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work with hand and power tools, and measuring equipment.
- Professional experience in a team environment.
- Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness in work.
- Effective time management skills.
Licenses or Special Certifications
- ASE Certification preferred but not required.
