Technical Services Specialist

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and support a variety of projects within the technical services department.
• Act as the primary subject matter expert and technical liaison for PI-related systems.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and define project scope.
• Investigate complex technical issues and develop innovative solutions.
• Ensure compliance with corporate, regulatory, and industry standards.
• Provide strategic direction and mentoring technical personnel.
• Support major company programs involving data collection, visualization, system integration, and digital monitoring technologies.

Essential Job Duties and Job Functions

• Develop and troubleshoot PI tags and graphics within ProcessBook.
• Exercise independent judgment in the interpretation, modification, and implementation of technical solutions.
• Maintain and improve the AVEVA PI System environment, including PI Data Archive and Asset Framework (AF).
• Manage interfaces and data integrations across supporting hardware infrastructure.
• Operate under limited guidance while handling complex, high-impact technical work.

Knowledge and Skills

• Demonstrated expertise with AVEVA PI System software, ProcessBook, PI Data Archive, Asset Framework (AF), interfaces, data integrations, and supporting hardware.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills applied to complex technical systems.
• Ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives with independent judgment.
• Strong mentorship and communication skills to support technical personnel.

Education and Experience

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Approximately 5 years of experience with PI Systems.
