About the role

This onsite position, based in our Indianapolis office, reports to the Technical Services Manager. The Technical Services Representative delivers operational and administrative excellence to support our sales and technical services teams, ensuring every customer interaction is efficient, accurate, and leaves a lasting impression.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate jobs with customers and prepare appropriate paperwork, including trucking process documentation and associated weights.
  • Create and distribute invoices with quotes for services such as lab packs, lab moves, and others.
  • Field incoming calls from prospective and existing customers, providing direct responses, obtaining information, or directing customers to the appropriate contact.
  • Assist Sales and Technical Services staff with job scopes, bids, proposals, and quotations.
  • Support the Sales team with administrative tasks, including customized waste profiling and shipment report generation.
  • Organize and control all job folders and customer master files, ensuring proper filing and retrieval for job costing.
  • Provide Quality Control by contacting customers post-service to conduct surveys.
  • Attend sales and other necessary meetings.
  • Provide technical support to Inside and Outside Sales representatives and customers.
  • Assist with the approval of OSS, lab pack, and other job folders.
  • Order and maintain inventory of office supplies.
  • Track office budgetary items.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related industry experience.
  • At least 2-3 years of working experience.
  • Ability to work as a team player with strong communication, analytical, technical, and organizational skills.
  • Determination and eagerness to learn about the environmental health & safety field.
  • Creativity in solving unique problems and leadership experience or potential.
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation.

Pay

Pay Range: $30 USD - $32 USD
