About the role
Toyo Tire North America Manufacturing, Inc. (TNA) in White, Georgia, is seeking an Engineering Co-op Student for the Technical Services department. This role supports the department's mission to ensure the quality and integrity of all tires introduced into the plant, focusing on tire aesthetics, performance, reliability, and adherence to standards throughout the product's life cycle.
Throughout the co-op tenure, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the tire manufacturing process, tire construction, tire testing, and overall tire performance in relation to target applications. You will apply engineering principles to resolve production issues, improve processes, and enhance tire performance.
Responsibilities
- Support the Technical Services department in maintaining the quality and integrity of tire designs.
- Ensure tire aesthetics, performance levels, and reliability meet all standards throughout the product's life cycle.
- Apply engineering principles to resolve tire production issues and improve production processes.
- Assist in tire testing and analyze overall tire performance in relation to target applications.
- Learn and contribute to the improvement of tire performance and reliability.
