Technical Service Representative

About the role

Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner while receiving and discharging trucks to and from the Service Center. Operate all makes and models of Vac-Con trucks to diagnose and repair deficiencies, and accurately prepare both written and electronic documentation pertaining to customer satisfaction. Communicate service orders in a timely manner. Work both independently with limited supervision and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify deficiencies in operation of all models of Vac-Con trucks.
• Identify materials, parts, and supplies needed to complete repairs safely and efficiently.
• Drive and operate Vac-Con trucks of all models.
• Use computer programs to find information concerning assemblies, schematics, and truck details.
• Follow prints, schematics, technical manuals, and written or spoken instructions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, water, and electrical systems.

Working Environment

Exposure to hot, cold, dry, wet, dirty, and oily conditions; may be subject to foul odors.

Travel Requirements

Periodic travel as needed.
