Technical Service Engineer

About the role

Pinnacle Polymers is seeking a Technical Service Engineer to provide technical support to customers, drive product innovation, troubleshoot manufacturing and application challenges, and serve as a key technical resource for the company's polypropylene business.

Responsibilities

• Support customers in resolving technical issues related to polypropylene products
• Contribute to the development and improvement of polypropylene products through technical research and innovation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and processes
• Provide training and guidance to manufacturing staff on proper product handling and application techniques

Requirements

• A strong background in polymer science, chemical engineering, and manufacturing operations
• Experience working with polypropylene materials and applications
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a technical service or R&D role

Skills

• Proficiency in polymer chemistry and material science
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
