Technical Sales Manager, HID & Forensics (Midwest Region)

For our client, we are seeking a Technical Sales Manager, HID & Forensics (Midwest Region) to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will drive technical sales performance across a specialized forensics and identity-testing market in the Midwest region, with responsibility for growing customer relationships and expanding market penetration. The position blends strategic sales execution, scientific credibility, and cross-functional coordination to support revenue growth across consumables, instruments, and services. You will also collaborate with internal teams and coach peers to strengthen overall team effectiveness and forecast accuracy. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000 annually Responsibilities Meet and exceed sales targets across consumables, instruments, and services Implement and execute corporate strategies to expand customer penetration in the HID market Develop and monitor quarterly and annual sales forecasts and performance indicators Initiate and drive new business opportunities and build strategic partnerships Coach and collaborate with junior peers to enhance team capability Organize effective communication across teams to support shared goals Qualifications Degree in Life Science; advanced degree or MS in Forensic Sciences preferred 5+ years of experience in HID/forensics with proven workflow knowledge Sales experience preferred; NGS/MPS knowledge highly desirable Familiarity with networks such as ASCLD or SWGDAM is preferred Broad understanding of automation and a full product portfolio Benefits Bonus/Commission Local benefits Referral Program Volunteer Day Access to Internal Academy Employee Assistance Program Hybrid work options, depending on role Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
