Technical Sales Manager DACH – Optische Messtechnik (m/w/d)

About the role

Join our sales team in optical metrology and drive customer success across the DACH region. You will combine technical expertise with sales acumen to advise clients, develop new business, and see projects through from initial consultation to completion in an innovative, high-tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and strategically develop existing customers in the DACH region
• Actively acquire new customers and expand the sales territory
• Provide technical and commercial consulting for our complex products and solutions
• Build long-term customer relationships and identify new business opportunities
• Conduct customer meetings, product presentations, and technical sales discussions
• Prepare and follow up on quotes in close coordination with internal teams
• Support customer projects until successful completion
• Collaborate closely with development, product management, and application teams
• Participate in trade shows and industry events

Requirements

• Successfully completed degree, ideally in Physics, Photonics, Optics, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in technical sales of complex products
• Ideally experience in one of the following areas:
  • Optics / Photonics
  • Laser technology
  • Optical metrology
  • Industrial high-tech products
• Strong customer orientation and passion for sales and business development
• Confident demeanor and excellent communication skills
• Willingness to travel within the DACH region
• Fluent German and good English skills
