Position Specific Description

The NextEra 360 Technical Solutions team is seeking a highly motivated Lead Professional to support customer engagement and solution development across commercial, industrial, utility, and public sector markets. This role serves as the bridge between customer challenges and NextEra Energy's broad portfolio of energy and infrastructure capabilities. Working closely with Business Development, Commercial, Engineering, Origination, and subject matter experts across the enterprise, this individual will help identify customer needs, develop integrated energy strategies, and coordinate early-stage solution development that advances strategic opportunities for NextEra Energy Resources.

Working closely with sales teams, this individual will collaborate to define, design, and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions. They will support technical discussions and solution design throughout the sales process to progress and build customer relationships. They will deliver product demonstrations, technical education, and proof of concepts, provide input on proposals and draft scope of work, and maintain an understanding of the customer’s industry, including industry trends and business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales teams to define, design, and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions
  • Support technical discussions and solution design throughout the sales process in order to progress/close deals and build customer relationships
  • Deliver product demonstrations, technical education, and proof of concepts
  • Provide input on proposals and draft scope of work
  • Maintain an understanding of the customer’s industry, including industry trends, industry business processes
