Technical Sales Engineer (Entry Level - Onsite)
What You'll Do
- Serve as the point of contact for Technical Service Division orders.
- Process customer requests for quotations in accordance with pre-determined company metrics and procedures.
- Create RFQ’s and source parts through approved vendors.
- Track customer requests for quotations, communicate with the customer to ensure accuracy, and prepare and send final quotations.
- Provide strong support for end customer and SMS Sales Department.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
What You'll Need
- A two-year technical degree combined with two years of business experience OR:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering preferably mechanical with two years of applicable experience.
- Bi – Lingual is a plus (German, Italian or Spanish).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Required to interpret Technical Drawings for the purpose of order quotation and accuracy.
- Required to interpret materials of construction and material conversions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to write reports and correspond with customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- CAD preferred but not required.
- Experience with SAP/ERP system is preferred.
