Responsibilities

  • Presents customized demonstrations tailored to customer requirements.
  • Delivers business-oriented presentations to all levels of the customer organization including board level.
  • Engages in business consulting activities and conducts detailed prospect discussions.
  • Designs and configures solutions to address customer’s business requirements.
  • Stages scenarios and creates demo data as needed.
  • Collaborates with the sales executive on opportunity strategy and approach.
  • PARTNERS WITH CLIENT BUSINESS AND TECHNICAL TEAMS TO UNDERSTAND BUSINESS OBJECTIVES AND INTEGRATION REQUIREMENTS.
  • SERVES AS A SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT FOR CLAIMS, POLICY, OR BILLING PRODUCTS.
  • SUPPORTS THE SALES TEAM AS AN EXPERT ON THE TECHNICAL AND INTEGRATION ASPECTS OF OTHER ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS THROUGHOUT THE SALES CYCLE.
  • CONTRIBUTES TO/WRITES CUSTOMER-SPECIFIC ORIGAMI PROPOSALS AND MANAGEMENT SUMMARIES.
  • MAY PROVIDE INITIAL IMPLEMENTATION ESTIMATES AND LEAD INITIAL SCOPE EFFORTS.
  • DOCUMENTS CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTS AND KNOWN PRODUCT / CONFIGURATION GAPS TO FACILITATE THE HANDOFF TO SERVICE.
  • WORKS WITH PRODUCT AND SERVICES TO IDENTIFY AND ADDRESS PRODUCT AND CONFIGURATION NEEDS.
  • LEADS AND SUPPORTS PROSPECT POCs AS REQUIRED.
  • ASSISTS MARKETING WITH SUPPORT FOR EVENTS, PR, SEMINARS, ANALYST DEMOS, AND CAMPAIGNS.
  • HELP ARTICULATE CLOUD VISIONS AND SaaS OFFERINGS TO NEW AND EXISTING CLIENTS.
  • CROSS TRAINS OTHER TECHNICAL SALES CONSULTANTS IN YOUR MARKETS OF EXPERTISE TO PROVIDE BACKUP AS NEEDED.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Business-related field.
  • 3+ years of previous experience in technical pre-sales consulting and/or sales engineering, or 6+ years of previous experience for Senior Technical Sales Consultant.
  • Previous experience working with technical sales teams and sales executives.
  • P&C Insurance industry experience required.
  • Up to 25% travel required.
