An active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph is required. This job is onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD with 1 remote day each week.

About the role

We have an immediate need for a Technical Requirements Systems Engineer to support and assist with overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of a mission-critical system. Candidates should be passionate about collaboratively solving challenging problems and have a track record of delivering high-quality solutions. Candidates will work closely with the Product Owner and stakeholders to perform workflow/business process engineering, functional requirements gathering, and technical requirements definition. Candidates will work closely with the Task Lead, Scrum Master, System Engineers, and Developers to facilitate sprint execution, functional testing, and sprint reviews/demos.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with software development using Java or JavaScript frameworks, RESTful microservices, and Cloud-based architecture and deployment (Amazon Web Services)
• Proven experience in working collaboratively to elicit and document functional and technical requirements
• Acting as an expert liaison between customers and the development team, to include managing customer expectations
• Comprehending and articulating intricate technical details to various audiences
• Facilitating workflow/business process engineering, functional requirements gathering, and technical requirements definition
• Working closely with the Task Lead, Scrum Master, System Engineers, and Developers to facilitate sprint execution, functional testing, and sprint reviews/demos
