About the role

Aladdin® is an operating system for investment managers that connects the information, people, and technology needed to manage money in real time. The Aladdin platform combines risk analytics with portfolio management, trading, compliance, and operations tools on a single platform to power informed decision-making, effective risk management, efficient trading, and operational scale. Aladdin is used by a community of over 200 institutional clients around the world, including BlackRock, with over 50,000 end users globally.

The team comprises 800+ professionals responsible for implementing and supporting Aladdin clients, sales and marketing, and ensuring the Aladdin Community maximizes Aladdin products through engagement and education. We are seeking an Aladdin Technical Relationship Manager to work closely with Aladdin clients as their trusted consultant, problem solver, and business partner to help them fully leverage Aladdin.

Responsibilities

  • Own relationships with client teams and help them use Aladdin to achieve their firm’s goals.
  • Map Aladdin Product vision across a client’s business and strategic initiatives, articulating the value.
  • Understand client’s Aladdin adoption and develop a strategy for approaching clients on product and harvesting opportunities.
  • Act as a consultative partner to senior client stakeholders, providing product insights.
  • Demonstrate strong segment and industry knowledge; be accountable for multiple user segments or clients.
  • Apply deep client and technical expertise to shape regional themes and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure client feedback on product is communicated to Product Managers and tracked through successful development and deployment.
  • Stay updated on regulatory and operational industry trends to help clients navigate changing times.
  • Engage with clients to define key strategic and tactical initiatives, leveraging your internal network to oversee and execute cross-functional project solutions.
  • Navigate across the firm to drive successful outcomes.
  • Proactively manage through clear communication and transparency, and coach junior team members.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of work experience in the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of FinTech and the investment lifecycle.
  • Working understanding of public and private markets.
  • Familiarity with buy-side investment management workflows such as trading, operations, and compliance, or experience advising clients on portfolio analysis, optimization, risk decomposition, and performance attribution.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to clients.
  • Ambitious approach to large, complex projects, with a flair for problem solving.
  • Self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced, high-intensity environment and works well as part of a multi-disciplinary global team.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Prior experience in Aladdin, eFront, or other private markets financial technology is a plus.
  • Experience with SQL, UNIX, or modern programming languages.

Pay

For New York, NY: The salary range for this position is USD $115,000.00 – USD $147,500.00. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.

For Wilmington, DE: The salary range for this position is USD $95,000.00 – USD $125,000.00. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.

Schedule

BlackRock’s hybrid work model requires employees to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities. New joiners can expect this hybrid model to accelerate learning and onboarding.
