Responsibilities
- Audits Life Limited Part Summaries and applicable technical and operational documentation for Company and customer engines.
- Assists in pre-purchase evaluation of engines and/or inventory as required.
- Produces Life Limited Part Summaries and trace packages.
- Researches records through contacts with OEMs, repair facilities and previous owner/operators in obtaining life limited part trace and complete operational and technical engine documentation.
- Provides comprehensive data packages to internal and external customers.
- Interfaces with internal and external customers in answering product related technical and trace questions.
- Scans select technical and trace documents.
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Knowledge of aircraft and engines.
- Prefer knowledge of the following engine types: CF34, CF6, CFM56, PW2000, PW4000, and V2500.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with aircraft and engine technical records.
- Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Familiarity with OEM documentation.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work independently.
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
