Technical Project Manager - Quantum

What You'll Do

• Manage a portfolio of 3–4 concurrent quantum computing research projects.
• Define project scope, milestones, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Cook up project teams consisting of researchers, fellows, and technical advisors.
• Track project progress, manage risks, and resolve execution bottlenecks.
• Serve as the primary liaison between research teams and clients.
• Ensure technical deliverables meet project objectives and client expectations.
• Facilitate regular project meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Support proposal development and project planning for new research opportunities.
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance project delivery across the organization.

Who You Are

• MS (research), PhD, or Postdoctoral experience in Quantum Computing or a related STEM field.
• Strong understanding of quantum computing concepts, with expertise in one or more of the following: Variational Quantum Algorithms (VQAs), Quantum Benchmarking, Quantum Error Correction, Quantum Algorithms and Applications.
• Experience managing technical or research projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working with clients, researchers, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced remote environment.
