Technical Project Manager

About the role

Step into a dynamic and high-impact opportunity as a Technical Project Manager, where you’ll be at the forefront of leading and supporting the end-to-end execution of manufacturing facility projects—from initial design through to operational readiness.

In this broad, cross-functional role, your primary focus will be ensuring the timely delivery of technical project activities aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and operational excellence. You'll collaborate with key stakeholders across Engineering, Quality, Technical, R&D, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and external partners to drive critical initiatives in facility design, equipment qualification, validation, and technology transfer.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of large-scale manufacturing facility projects from a technical supply perspective, ensuring alignment with business strategy and operational goals.
• Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, maintaining accountability for timelines, budgets, and stakeholder engagement.
• Develop and oversee integrated project plans across technical and manufacturing workstreams, ensuring coordinated execution.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across site teams and sister sites to achieve key project milestones, remove roadblocks, and drive seamless implementation.
• Build a strong understanding of commercial and category drivers to align technical initiatives with broader business objectives.
• Own the delivery of New Product Introduction (NPI) and Existing Product Development (EPD) programs, managing supply elements up to 10 months prior to launch through to first commercial supply.
• Maintain transparent communication of project status, timelines, risks, and changes to strategy with all relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance and critical path activities, holding teams accountable for timely execution and deliverables.
• Coordinate with Packaging and Category Supply Project Managers to manage SKU complexity, support market strategies, and optimize launch timings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a science, engineering, or technology-related field; Project Management certification preferred.
• Experience leading process development, technology transfer, facility start-ups, and product validation activities within pharmaceutical or FMCG manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record managing manufacturing technology projects in cGMP-regulated facilities with working knowledge of FDA and EMA requirements.
• Hands-on project management experience utilizing planning tools such as MS Project or MS Planner to drive timelines, resources, and deliverables.
• Demonstrated success partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, managing business and operational priorities, and delivering results in complex manufacturing environments.

Pay

US salary ranges USD $115,000.00 - $173,000.00
