Technical Project Manager – Algorithm Applications
About the role
The Technical Project Manager will lead the serialization of algorithms and software products within the Tire Intelligence Department. This role focuses on overseeing the transition of these products from advanced development to production.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the transition of tire intelligence algorithmic and software products from advanced development to production.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of software products.
- Work closely with OEMs and Tier 1s as a project manager/technical lead.
- Manage agile software development lifecycle from inception to deployment.
- Collaborate with embedded automotive system architects to integrate new technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a similar quantitative field of study.
- Eight years of progressive, post-graduate experience as a Systems Engineer or Electrical Engineer within the automotive, mobility, or tire industries.
- Five years of successful software product implementation experience.
- Five years of direct experience working with an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or Tier 1 as a project manager or technical lead.
- Five years of experience with embedded automotive system architecture.
- Five years of experience with agile software development lifecycle through product deployment.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and software development processes.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
