Position Summary

Structure Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Technical Project/Program Manager to lead a portfolio of high-impact IT initiatives spanning R&D, G&A, and AI/Infrastructure platforms. This role is critical to enabling scientific innovation and enterprise scale by delivering complex, cross-functional programs with precision, transparency, and speed. Operating at the level expected in leading biotech organizations, this individual will drive end-to-end program execution, establish strong delivery governance, and ensure alignment between scientific, corporate, and technology priorities. This role requires a balance of deep program management discipline, technical fluency, and AI-forward thinking, with a strong focus on execution excellence and executive communication.

Job Responsibilities

  • Program & Project Leadership

    • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex IT programs across: R&D systems (Clinical, Discovery, Preclinical), G&A systems (Finance, HR, Legal, collaboration tools), AI/ML and infrastructure platforms

    • Drive program planning, execution, and delivery across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

    • Manage multiple concurrent initiatives with clear prioritization, resource alignment, and delivery accountability

    • Ensure delivery within scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations

  • Delivery Methodology & Execution Excellence

    • Apply strong expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models, selecting the right approach based on program needs

    • Establish structured project plans, milestones, and dependencies across technical and business teams

    • Proactively manage risks, issues, and interdependencies with a solutions-oriented mindset

    • Drive continuous improvement in delivery frameworks, tools, and operational rigor

  • Cross-Functional IT & Business Partnership

    • Partner with business stakeholders across R&D and G&A to define requirements, align priorities, and drive adoption

    • Serve as the connective layer between engineering, architecture, and business teams to ensure cohesive execution

    • Coordinate internal teams and external vendors/partners

  • Executive Reporting & Governance

    • Own program governance, including steering committees, status reporting, and executive updates

    • Deliver clear, concise, and data-driven reporting on program health, risks, and outcomes

    • Translate complex technical initiatives into business-relevant insights for senior leadership

    • Drive decision-making through structured communication and escalation management

  • AI & Digital Enablement

    • Lead and support initiatives involving AI/ML platforms, data infrastructure, and automation

    • Demonstrate AI literacy, leveraging modern AI tools to improve productivity and delivery outcomes

    • Partner with data and engineering teams to enable scalable, production-ready AI solutions

  • PMO & Operational Leadership

    • Contribute to building and scaling IT PMO capabilities, standards, and best practices

    • Champion consistency in project execution, documentation, and reporting

    • Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in technical project/program management, preferably within biotech, pharma, or regulated environments

  • Proven success delivering complex, cross-functional IT programs supporting R&D and enterprise functions

  • Strong track record of managing enterprise-scale initiatives and executive stakeholders

  • Technical & Delivery Expertise: Strong understanding of: Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models, Cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), Data platforms and AI/ML ecosystems, Enterprise applications (Finance, HR, collaboration tools), Familiarity with GxP, validation, and compliance requirements is a plus

  • Leadership & Communication: Exceptional skills in project management, prioritization, and execution discipline, Strong experience with executive reporting and stakeholder communication, Ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across diverse teams, High degree of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail

  • AI & Modern Tooling: Demonstrated AI literacy, including practical use of AI tools to enhance productivity, reporting, or delivery workflows, Interest in applying emerging technologies to improve IT and business outcomes

  • Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred), PMP, PgMP, Scrum, or equivalent certification preferred
