About the role

Join our team where you'll apply data-driven insights and AI/ML models to improve every aspect of work for Amazonians—from benefits and compensation to recruiting, organizational culture, and management practices. You will partner with senior business leaders and an interdisciplinary team of User Experience researchers, data scientists, economists, and engineers to develop innovative solutions at Amazon's scale.

Responsibilities

  • Manage cross-functional engineering, product, data science, and business teams to deliver scientific programs that enhance employee experiences, developing detailed plans, schedules, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Identify dependencies and enable seamless collaboration between technical teams building AI/ML models, product managers defining requirements, data scientists and economists providing insights, and business stakeholders across Amazon's employee services
  • Lead communication and provide executive visibility into high-impact programs, continuously monitoring progress, highlighting roadblocks early, and developing contingency plans to ensure successful delivery
  • Accountable for developing and implementing overall strategy and driving teams inside and outside of the organization to deliver results
  • Mentor and develop junior Technical Program Managers, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their career growth

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Define KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Skills

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with data analysis and machine learning
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Pay

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).

  • USA, CA, San Francisco: $171,000.00 - $231,400.00 USD annually
  • USA, MA, Boston: $148,700.00 - $201,200.00 USD annually
  • USA, VA, Arlington: $148,700.00 - $201,200.00 USD annually
  • USA, WA, Bellevue: $148,700.00 - $201,200.00 USD annually
  • USA, WA, Seattle: $148,700.00 - $201,200.00 USD annually
